Mysterious Pasta Stuff and Garlic Bread

Ever been hungry and not sure what to make? Well, this is the perfect recipe for that. Most of the ingredients for this recipe are easy to come by and it is possible they might already be in the kitchen. Unfortunately, because of the fact that it was entirely made up on the spot, there are no specific measurements for the ingredients. Each ingredient’s measurement should be taken with a grain of salt, but be careful to not add too much salt.

Ingredients:

A large chunk of cheddar cheese
A small scoop of flour
A good pour of milk
A handful of basil (potentially from the plant on the windowsill)
3 cloves of garlic (the only accurately measured ingredient)
As much pasta as will be eaten
A scattering of breadcrumbs
Some Parmesan cheese
Half a bagel
Some more butter
Garlic powder

Instructions:

1. Boil a pot of water and when it is boiling, add the pasta. Leave to cook until pasta is soft. Then strain.

2. While the pasta is cooking, the sauce can be prepared. First, heat milk in a small sauce pan. Once the milk is hot, grate the cheddar cheese into the milk. Stir thoroughly until all of the cheese is melted. Then add the flour and stir well. Leave this on stove to thicken. Next, chop the basil and the garlic into very small bits. These can then be added to the cheese sauce. Stir well.

3. Assembling will begin by placing the pasta in a bowl. On top of the pasta, add several scoops of the sauce. Let the sauce cover the pasta. Then, grate parmesan cheese over the cheese sauce. Next, sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the assembled dish. For extra decoration, add a sprig of basil to the top.

4. To accompany the Mysterious Pasta Stuff, prepare some bagel garlic bread. Start by placing the bagel in the toaster until it is a golden brown. Melt butter and mix in a good quantity of garlic powder(this can vary based on personal garlic preference). Then carefully pour the garlic butter onto the bagel.

5. Eat and enjoy.
