Orediggers Fall short in NCAA Tourney

In what would prove to be the final game of the season for the No. 13 Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team, the Orediggers fell once again to the Metro State Roadrunners. After falling behind the No. 1 team in the country by 16 late in the second half, the Orediggers cut the lead to three in the waning seconds only to lose by four, 86-82.

Orediggers Bring the Pain against Colorado Christian

The ninth-ranked Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team squared off against Colorado Christian in the first round of the RMAC Tournament on Tuesday, March 8, and for the second time in four days ran the Cougars off the floor. The Orediggers shellacked CCU 102-57 thanks to a blistering 63.2% shooting night.

Lady Oredigger's regular season comes to a close

The Lady Oredigger basketball team took to the court for the final time this regular season Saturday night in Lakewood, competing against Colorado Christian University. Not able to complete the season on a winning note as hoped, Mines fell to the Cougars 65-53.

Men's Basketball Finish Season on High Note

The tenth ranked Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team squared off against Colorado Christian on Saturday in Lakewood for their final regular season game of the year. The Orediggers (23-3, 19-3 RMAC) defeated the Cougars by a score of 110 to 69. With the win, the Orediggers clinch the two seed in the RMAC tournament and will play their first round game on Tuesday the 4 at 7 p.m in Lockridge arena.

Lady Orediggers Survive New Mexico Highlands 78-75

En route to posting their third straight victory, the lady Orediggers traveled to Las Vegas--Las Vegas, New Mexico that is--and walked away with a three point victory. Mines (10-14, 9-11 in the RMAC) shot 50% from the field in the win and 87.5% on 21-of-24 shooting from the free throw line.
