Community Spotlight: Golden.com

Students at CSM know the town of Golden well, but to find out more about the city, golden.com offers an all encompassing directory to any and all information pertaining to Golden.

The home page shows a picture of the city from Mt. Zion. Scrolling down the home page, one can see a schedule of upcoming town events. For students looking for places to go in Golden or things to do besides study, the website offers a list of each with only a simple click of the mouse.

Furthermore, the site contains a link to a list of all the places to shop, dine and stay in Golden, as well as information for day trips or extended stays. For example, by clicking on the “Learn about Golden” tab, one can find maps of the city and local trails. The site also contains information on the history of Golden, Coors Brewery, Colorado School of Mines, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), city government, and places of worship.
