Summer is a busy time of the year. The weather is nice, school is out, and whether the summer is spent working or spending time outdoors it is a nice break from the daily grind of attending Mines. This week, the Oredigger asked students what they did during the summer.
|I started the summer with three weeks of Mechanical Engineering field session. Then I worked at Home Depot in hardware and really liked my co-workers.
|I worked all summer to make extra money at the famous restaurant in True Grit and a golf course in the mountains.
|I worked at a telescope manufacturing company and I also illustrated a children’s book.
|I read a lot of books.
|I took the Challenge program here at Mines.
