Saving the world while providing inspiration to us all, the Avengers and other Marvel superheroes definitely listen to some incredible songs to get them hyped up for duty. To display the importance of music in the life of a superhero, here are 20 Marvel characters matched with a song that suits them.

Iron Man is a major fan of ACDC and is always shooting towards the sky in every way imaginable. Because of this, Iron Man suits “Shoot to Thrill” by ACDC.

Thor has a tough life, and he frequently needs to relax and let loose with some ABBA, but he will always come to your aid even in the dead of night. His song is “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” by ABBA.

Captain America is a man of the classics. He believes in true love and always doing the right thing. So, this star-spangled man’s song is “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond.

Operating as a spy for many years and constantly posing, Black Widow’s song is “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga.

To prove that he is the best, Loki wants to hold as much power as he can. So, his song is “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears.

The master of smashing only listens to Smash Mouth, solely because he is Shrek’s number one fan. Feeling the weight of the years that just won’t stop coming, Hulk’s song is “All Star” by Smash Mouth.

While this one may be a bit targeted, Hawkeye’s song is “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar. This man has survived a lot of tough experiences in his life and yet he is still thriving.

Although this is from his soundtrack, it accurately displays almost everything about Star-Lord because he is constantly hooked on things: his music, Gamora, his ship, etc. Therefore, he is also hooked on “Hooked On A Feeling” by Blue Swede.

Of course we can’t forget about our favorite Marvel plant. For no reason at all, Groot’s song “No Roots” by Alice Merton. Can’t you just imagine him doing his little dance to this song?

As the dorky man that we all know and love, Ant-Man is constantly making ridiculous mistakes. He is also definitely one of Britney Spears’s biggest fans, making “Oops!… I Did It Again” by Britney Spears his song.

Considering that he can manipulate time and space in a way that appears as if the sky is falling, “Skyfall” by Adele is Doctor Strange’s song. I am sure that he sings along to this song while training.

Spider-Man’s song can swing in many different directions. “Hard Times” by Paramore represents all the terrible events that Spider-Man has had to live through. “The Lucky One (Taylor’s Version)” by Taylor Swift reveals that he is not as lucky as many think. But, when it rains, Spider-Man loves to listen and dance to Umbrella by Rihanna and JAY-Z.

Our beloved king of Wakanda, Black Panther, only deserves the best. That’s why “Make Way For The King” by Ohana Bam is his anthem.

As the strong, confident woman that she is, Captain Marvel is a major fan of The Chicks. Notably, “Goodbye Earl” by The Chicks always gets her ready to save the world.

Despite his refusals, Thanos loves listening to Shawn Mendes. Because he believes that he is inevitable no matter what gets in the way of his plans, the song “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” by Shawn Mendes is his song.

Nobody ignores their problems as strongly as the Scarlet Witch, although I often wish that I could also create a fake universe to get away from my responsibilities. She truly puts all her problems on the back burner, which is why “Burning Pile” by Mother Mother is her song.

Vision may not be made of skin and bone, but he admires the Scarlet Witch for everything that she is. Resultantly, Vision’s song is “Yellow” by Coldplay.

Bucky’s song is “Left Hand Free” by alt-J… and I will not provide an explanation for that.

Falcon does not let anything stand between him and his friends. He truly would climb any mountain for the people he loves, making his song “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

As a huge Disney fan, Shang-Chi loves the movie Mulan. Because of all his training, he especially relates to the song “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” by Donny Osmond.
