The Lady Oredigger Swimming & Diving team took on both Northern Colorado and Colorado Mesa this Friday in Greeley. Although they put up a strong fight, they finished the weekend’s events third overall.
This Saturday, the Mines swim and dive team hosted the Colorado College Tigers and ended the day with convincing wins. The women’s team defeated the Tigers 179-109 and the men emerged victorious by a score of 215.5-61.5.When all 32 swimming and diving events had been concluded, Mines had emerged victorious in 25 of them.
The Mines Women’s Swim and Dive team put on a good showing at their meet versus Western State on Saturday, as CSM individuals and teams combined to win seven of the thirteen events held. However, they ended up losing on total team scores 123-113.
The Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive teams both fell in their dual meet with Utah, but put up a tough fight against the Division I Utes.
