As another year at the Colorado School of Mines begins, so do Club Sports. This year the Club Sports department is proud to announce that there will be 19 intercollegiate clubs for students to join. Here is where you can get the latest information for tryouts, games, and contact information regarding any club that is in season this semester.
Baseball – Tryouts for Club Baseball will be held on September 12th, September 13th, and September 15th. Games for baseball will start on September 15th, and run every weekend until mid-October for this semester. Contact President Evan Ford (eford@mines.edu) for any information.

Bowling – Tryouts for Club Bowling will be held during their first weeks of practice. Practices are every Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Golden Bowl, and begin on September 4th. Contact President William Siirola (wsiirola@mines.edu) regarding any questions.
Cycling – Club Cycling meets in front of Guggenheim on Tuesdays for practice. Contact club officers (club-cycling@mines.edu) to find out more.
Golf – Tryouts for Club Golf will be based on the first several rounds of play. Rounds of golf will be played Monday nights and Sunday Mornings. The club will be competing in tournaments at the end of September and in October. Contact President James Meyer (jameyer@mines.edu) with questions.
Ice Hockey – Tryouts for Club Ice Hockey will take place September 4th and 5th at APEX Ice Arena. Games begin the last week of September and occur weekly through mid-November. Contact President Chris Asmussen (casmusse@mines.edu) to gather important information.
Men’s Lacrosse – Practices for Men’s Lacrosse take place on IM North Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM and Fridays 4:00-6:00 on IM South. Anybody is welcome to attend a practice to see what the team is all about. Contact President Bryan Hathaway (bhathawa@mines.edu) for details.

Men’s Rugby – Practices for Men’s Rugby will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00-6:00 PM on the North IM Field. A game roster will be put together based on performance at practices. Please contact President Brandon Castro (bcastro@mines.edu) for Men’s Rugby Information.
Women’s Rugby – Practices for Women’s Rugby will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 PM on the North IM Field. Any female is welcome to join the team just by showing up to practices. Email President Kaycie Lane (kalane@mines.edu) for details.

Men’s Soccer – The Men’s Club Soccer team begins their season September 7th away against CSU. The first chance you have to support the Men’s Club Soccer team at home is Wednesday, September 25th. Contact Jacob Hill (jahill@mines.edu) for further game information.
Women’s Soccer – Women’s Club Soccer begins their season Friday, September 6th. They play CU at Oredigger Field. The club would love to have your support as they begin another season of play. Send question to President Melissa Tran (metran@mines.edu).
Tennis – Tryouts for Club Tennis will be held September 7th. The club plans to travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina for a massive college tournament. Other matches will be played leading up to the tournament. President Matthew Stech (mstech@mines.edu) can offer further details.
Ultimate – Club Ultimate is looking for new members to attend practices. The practices are from 4:00-6:00 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and 10:00-12:00 on Sundays on IM North. No experience is required. Contact the team (club-ultiatem@mines.edu) for more information.
